Kingdom (2025) — Telugu Action

In the 1920s, a group of tribals in Srikakulam, India, led by their king, attempt to prevent British forces from exploiting their land for gold mining. Despite their efforts, the king dies without revealing a prophecy about a future descendant who will rise to lead them. Decades later, in 1991, Constable Byreddy Surya "Suri" (Vijay Deverakonda), a young and aggressive police officer, is recruited by RAW handler Jayaprakash 'JP' (Satyadev) for a covert mission. Suri is tasked with infiltrating the heavily fortified island of Divi, off the coast of Sri Lanka, to gather intelligence on a significant consignment of arms and gold from Hong Kong, following the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. Unbeknownst to Suri, his estranged brother, Siva (Venkitesh V P), is the leader of the tribe's descendants on Divi, setting the stage for a complex and personal mission. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, "Kingdom" is an ambitious action thriller that intertwines historical legacy with espionage. The film delves into themes of brotherhood, loyalty, and identity, as Suri confronts his past and the moral complexities of his duty.
