Set in a quaint Indian village, the story unfolds as Lilaram, played by the talented Paresh Rawal, devises a cunning plan to claim the lottery winnings for himself. However, he soon discovers that he is not the only one interested in the money, as various villagers, including the comically inept Rajpal Yadav and the determined Om Puri, also plot to get their hands on the fortune. The central conflict of "Malamaal Weekly" revolves around Lilaram's increasingly convoluted attempts to secure the lottery money while evading suspicion from both the villagers and the authorities.
