Stop! That! Train! (2026) — English Action

"Stop! That! Train!" is a vibrant action-comedy that follows best friends and train stewardesses Tess and DeeDee as they escape their mundane jobs on the Stank Rail for the glamorous Glamazonian Express. Their excitement quickly turns to chaos when a catastrophic Stormaganza threatens to derail their high-speed journey to Celebration, Florida. As they face the impending disaster, Tess and DeeDee must rally together with an eclectic crew, including snobby first-class attendants, a hot but dimwitted co-conductor, and an unexpectedly fabulous US President, Judy Gagwell. The central conflict of "Stop! That! Train!" revolves around the duo's struggle to save the train while navigating their own personal challenges, including the weight of post-traumatic stress disorder that may arise from their past. The film explores themes of female friendship, resilience, and self-acceptance within a campy, over-the-top narrative typical of director Adam Shankman's style. As the stakes escalate, Tess and DeeDee's camaraderie is put to the test, leading to hilarious and heartfelt moments that highlight the importance of unity amid chaos. The film's tone balances absurdity with a sense of urgency, ensuring that the comedic elements never overshadow the emotional depth. Set in the United States and infused with LGBTQ+ themes, "Stop! That! Train!" speaks to audiences who appreciate a blend of action and humor, particularly within the drag queen community. Released in 2026, the film showcases a dazzling cast featuring RuPaul, Jujubee, Ginger Minj, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Marcia Marcia Marcia, each bringing their unique flair to the story. Ultimately, "Stop! That! Train!" is not just about averting disaster; it is a celebration of friendship, identity, and the strength that emerges when individuals come together to confront adversity, all while delivering a campy and entertaining ride.
