Baby Girl ബേബി ഗേൾ (2026) — Malayalam Drama — Hindi Dubbed

In the bustling city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, a three-day-old baby girl vanishes from a hospital's maternity ward, setting off a tense investigation. Sanal Mathew (Nivin Pauly), a hospital attendant, becomes the prime suspect due to his late arrival on the day of the disappearance. As the search for the missing child intensifies, Sanal embarks on his own quest to uncover the truth and clear his name. Directed by Arun Varma, "Baby Girl" is a Malayalam-language thriller that delves into themes of guilt, motherhood, and moral responsibility. The film unfolds over a single day, capturing the escalating tension and emotional turmoil of its characters. While the narrative offers a compelling setup, some critics have noted that the execution falters due to predictable plotting and a dated narrative style. Released on January 23, 2026, "Baby Girl" received a mixed reception. Critics praised the performances, particularly those of Nivin Pauly and Lijomol Jose, but criticized the screenplay for its lack of depth and suspense. The film appeals to viewers interested in character-driven dramas that explore complex emotional landscapes, though it may not satisfy those seeking a tightly woven thriller.
